I'd play three left backs all at once, all at left back. That way we can over load on a team's right hand side easily and use it as a massive attacking advantage.

Disappointed Martinez hasn't thought of this already to be honest, but not surprised.

Numbers 3, 13 and 23. Once again Everton are pioneers of football. Like when you used to play Roberto Larcos up front in ISS 2 because he was so boss.

Aye, you might have a point there, we'd have to play McCarthy on his own down the whole right side to balance it out but that should work.

I can certainly understand why he'd be considering his options.
Every footballer wants to get to play first team football, and with who he's got in front of him there's no real guarantees you can make, nor will there be the same level of competition at other clubs.
Not to mention financial security.
Would like to see him sign a contract and go out on loan for a season to develop his game then come back and boss it for us, but at the same time can understand why he might leave.

The greatest manager of all time once said Charlie Adams corners were worth £10m alone.

Now he's okay at corners but he's not as good as Luke Garbutt who takes world class corners and for that alone we should be doing all we can to get him to sign, even threaten his family or pets, or his families pets if we have to.

Otherwise we'll regret for EVER when he's knocking in £80m corners for Swansea or Stoke.

Well it worked with Stevie Me.

What's stopping Martinez giving young Luke a go behind Lukaku up front? He's got the creativity and intelligence. Let's not waste another player by refusing to play him in his natural role, like Bilyaletdinov.

I don't understand the clamour for him to play over Baines. Baines is one of the best in the league and has been for years. Garbutt whips in a few good corners and all of a sudden he's the 2nd coming. It will be disappointing to lose him on a free but there has been an overreaction. Reading toffeeweb you'd think we'd let Messi and Ronaldo leave on frees.

Is Toffeeweb still a gang of depressive self loathing tweed wearing quegs?

Reckon he will stay myself, if not he will prob do a Gosling and drift into obscurity for want of a big signing on fee and flattery of interest from another club.

Realistically he is going to sit on the bench of most clubs of our standard in the PL, may as well stay with us and be loaned out to a Boro or Bourmouth, who he will have to go to anyway to week-week footie in the PL.

Better then Baines comment are hillarballs.

Yeah plus it's just a lot more depressing than this place. I reck auschwitz was a more cheerful place than Toffeeweb.
Its like they've rounded up every pub bore from Crosby to Southport, and then added the Cambridge debating team from 1894 into the mix and let them free with keyboards.

Every single one of them detests Everton too. It's a weird combination.
