I suppose it is double standards that I don't complain when Martinez plays a player out of position whereas I did when Moyes did it. Just it always seemed the Moyes was just chucking stuff at a wall to see it it stuck whereas feel Martinez will have focused on a particular feature of both the player & opposition to exploit.

But I could just be hypnotised by Martinez and quite possibly suffering from extended exposure to alcohol.

I've got a hunch that Bobby fancies Oviedo as a left winger. If Baines gets Lahm'd, then it would leave Robertson and Garbutt as left back cover?

It is odd, certain clubs seem to stockpile certain type of players.

Ferguson had loads of strikers but by the end needed a midfield of an aging Giggs & Scholes.

Wenger and Mourinho both have teams this season loaded with attacking midfield players but poor strikers and weak defensive midfield (until Matic purchase) and they don't even have the same style of play.

We seem to be cornering the market on boss left backs. It is wonderful as I think full backs are very important to the modern game but would kind of like the odd striker or two.

He'd benefit most from playing a full season at a Championship club. He needs to be getting regular playing time at the higest level possible (ie not reserve / U21 games)
