I always thought he was a weird buy by DM as he didn't exactly bang them in for Swindon. With so mnay straikers on the books and all arguably ahead of him it was only a matter of time. Still good luck to the lad he seemed decent enough was never whinging to the papers.

Yes, good luck to the boy. With our youth policy it is inevitable that many more will be let go than will actually make it to the first team. Doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't have a decent career ahead of him if he works hard.

I'm a member of the football manager researchers forum (I research lancaster city, not Everton), and the Coventry researcher on there says the fee is definitely below £1m. He thinks it's £200k up front, but may also have other clauses to do with goals scored, games played, sell on fee, team achievements, etc.
