Not a bad shout but Liepzig are about to get champions league football next year and being bankrolled by Red Bull they're not afraid to pay a big wedge. Not sure why he'd leave.
Of the other posts-
Dembele would be great but I would imagine someone like Chelsea or the RS will be in for him too.
Lacazette is unlikely as he's an absolute goal machine and will definitely attract some high class suitors.
Giroud is not good enough for what we need and probably thinks he is too good for us so that won't work either.
I think we need Walsh to pull out a diamond in the rough...
Cottee
While it may be possible Giroud thinks he's too good for us, I wholeheartedly disagree that he's not good enough for what we need. He just hasn't been fit this year, and with turmoil looming at the Arse it could be our time to strike. His hold up play is miles better than Rom's, and when on form he could bag just as many goals. Rom's ceiling is higher no doubt, but I'd rather buy a proven guy like Giroud where you know what you're getting rather than breaking the bank for someone unproven like Lacazette. Not a bad shout but Liepzig are about to get champions league football next year and being bankrolled by Red Bull they're not afraid to pay a big wedge. Agree. I remember last euros he broke free and was running to face the goalkeeper one on one when some lumbering defender caught up and over took him. As a back up striker he'd be decent .If we go from rom to giroud. That will send me over the edge. Big slow donkey
