Point was that everton should be better than southampton, swansea, etc...

And that lukaku was overrated as a prospect for the amount being paid as was luke shaw and sterling will be.

Balotelli is better than a england reject.

Honestly though, isnt it dissapointing that a team like southampton that lost llanana, lovren, shaw and lambert is doing better than everton that has everyone in place still with a few additions.

At chelsea, he lacked mental toughness to play there. When chelsea signed eto, he was depressed and requested a loan move that year.
This year, chelsea signed costa and ft9/drogba was there as well, and wanted to leave..
He's not Welsh you know, nor is he a type of domesticated camelid.

To be totally honest, I agree however we have hit bad form, and football is an inexact science so while we should be better than we are, who's to say we won't improve dramatically with or without a few January additions, and who's to say Southampton won't nosedive?

Still a long way of the season to go.

Still a long season to go, but everton with the talent on the squad is as dissapointing as chelsea was in 2012 epl season, even though they won the champs league and fa cup.

Don't you feel because of the large transfer fee that lukaku commanded, everton as a team got screwed over in the transfer market?

No.

We paid for both a very good player and the future potential of him. One half of a bad season doesn't make him a waste.

Not really. It was our money, we were willing to part with it to get the guy we wanted. We knew we weren't buying the complete striker and it would take a while.

Still we could have bought sexy sexy Wilfy Bones.

At the time no. We are more baffled by the current malaise. And I am surprised you still havnt got over the disappointment of only winning the CL and FA Cup. Would be devastated me.

The epl season was disappointing. Chelsea was 6th and lower than freakin the spurs and newcastle...
