Everton have allayed fears that Romelu Lukaku suffered a hamstring injury in the win over Dundee.

A Blues spokesman said the £28m striker was taken off in the first-half at Dens Park because he felt "heavy legged".

Roberto Martinez is understood to be relaxed about Lukaku's injury and after being assessed by the club's medical staff at the ground, the Catalan does not believe the injury will keep the Belgian out of the Premier League opener against Watford on August 8.
