Lukaku replacement

Agree. And RM in a recent interview revealed he was under no delusions about Lukaku staying. Also, recent performances have shown us to be MUCH more than a one trick pony. Lukaku is great to have, but not indispensable

He isn't good enough to play for chelsea. where else is he gonna go? and all this 20/30m talk for him is ridiculous

but isn't that the point? there rather stick with torres who is world famous now for him being ****e then play rom.

roms a beast, what hes good at ( scoring goals) is what we need but his hold up play that any hungover pub player can do is awful, hence the 20/30m shouts ridiculous imo. I'm buzzing that with have him but he ain't good enough atm to play for chelsea and thats why they loaned him out.

Put it this way theres no chance in hell that romelu will be chelseas starting frontman next season

Agree, think too many of us are thinking way ahead and IF we make the CL we could possibly sign him but we wont, and Martinez will know that and surely have players in mind.

Ive been reading today that Benfica are in a bit of financial trouble and looking to sell some players to clear debts, Would Cardozo be worth a punt for a few years at a reduced price?. I reckon so!.

I would just like to ask if people think he is overrated? because I do. I doubt he will be a major miss when he returns to Chelsea as long as we have around 10-15 million for a replacement.

Looking back at his goals, I honestly believe any other striker could have scored them, even Jelavic. they have been nothing overly special, most of them have gone in of the keeper without much precision.

Lastly his closing down is quite good but his first touch and passing is below average, and over the last few games his movement just hasn't been there.

Obviously I am preparing to get bashed for this post, so give it to me.
