Him playing tonight means nothing really, thinking back to when we re-signed Pienaar, he came on as sub for Spurs then within an hour of their game finishing he’d agreed to come back

Pienaar was not a major asset to Spurs. He was a squad player and used as such when they were short, ahead of his transfer to us.

Kean's medical with Juve is supposed to be tomorrow, we didn't have a striker on the bench and our no. 9 did get injured. We could have used him, but it is madness to risk a sellable asset so close to a done deal. We may be in phantom bid territory here. I'm just hoping that it's more to do with the moving parts/house selling chain analogy I used earlier.
