Once possibly, but definitely not enough to know if it would work. Newcastle away last year I think

Digne played left midfield in front of Godfrey a couple of times last year, the win at Wolves was one that I remember.
He's certainly an asset for those crosses.

Basically Baines played there in his career with Pienaar and left sided CBs like Distin covering him.

Well, from what I and others have seen from this group of players over time the very last thing they need is a manager with high emotional intelligence who'll molly coddle them even more.
My way or the high way, one size fits all approach to people management it is + throw in a good bit of shouting for extra measure. Great

Everywhere is touting around 30 mil. I don't think we will get more.

With keepers unless your branded as the world's best, they generally don't command huge fees.

People will point to Ben White but he's 3 years younger than Pickford.

Pickford is a great shot stopper, but he's also unpredictable, loses his head a lot and is inconsistent.

We'd get around £40m+. Pickford is England's number one, high profile, still approaching his peak. If we didn't get a bid close to £50m we'd keep him as there'd be no point selling.
