I had a feeling the departure of Brands would bring things to a head for a few players.

If finances are tight, which it seems they’re. Then id rather sell Digne, Pickford, Mina. Kean. Before Richarlison and DCL.

Obviously there’s fringe players we’d all like to see the back of. Holgate, Davies, iwobi, Gomes as well for me, I won’t be drawn in
By a decent 25min cameo. But they will be harder to shift for decent money.

We’ll have no option but to sell Richarlison and DCL soon enough, neither of them will want to stick around here for too much longer. I can’t see Richarlison staying beyond this summer and I think DCL May stay for one season longer.

My big concern is that we sell them, big money comes in and we waste it on dross, similar to the Lukaku situation. With money being so tight here and taking into account the hit and miss record Benitez has in the transfer market, we really need a competent, empowered DOF in before this money comes into the club.

He has been awful due to the way he is getting told to play, he is one of the best LB in Europe

Clearly one of our best players under adventurous managers but has struggled under defensive managers like benitez and carlo. What can it hurt to let the lad go on the overlap more Rafael? We might win more games like, which, ya know, is a good thing!
