The desire has gone from him. No desire, no fight. He already lacks pace and defensive awareness, but now he's even given up those lung-busting runs down the wing, and seemingly can't cross a football any more either. With all that gone, might as well just play whoever is second in line instead as they probably offer more than Digne has since the end of 2019.
The financial thinking at Everton let the backup go out on loan hence the lads seemingly can't be arsed place is safe attitude
They would rather see some other club pay a payers wages rather than seeing the bigger picture

Absolutely but LB is the biggest mess. Main man out of form no back up not even in the u23s as both of them are CB one isn't good enough the other has only just turned 17. If we lose Digne it's either a right footed CB playing out of position or an injury prone midfielder. Hopefully Digne finds his mojo and avoids injury.
