£40m is on the low side, but I understand the sentiment. I do like Van Aanholt, as someone said, he'd be decent back up if we keep Digne, but we have 2 good young left backs behind Digne as it is.

In all seriousness though, if you could get £60+m for Digne and use that to strengthen elsewhere, it would be a sensible way to approach it. As far as I'm concerned there really isn't anyone outside of Godfrey and DCL i wouldn't at least consider offers for.
