The club should use this early summer chaos / opportunity to do a real change. Get rid of those six wasters, get rid of the majority of the backroom staff (or just start with Unsy and Donnachie), a few off the Board and let's go.

Otherwise you are just building on an unsound foundation.

Not sure who you were watching this season. A poor man's baines for me. Inconsistent and not great defensively. On his day yes, very good delivery but not often enough thus why he was unwanted at psg and barca

....his form tailed off but he was terrific for part of the season. He’s a conventional LB, not a wing back or left midfield, don’t mess him about. I think he’s as good as it gets playing in his right position with somebody ahead of him. His defending significantly improved, he’s decent in the air and he can get around the back and deliver threat.

I watched City in that CL final & thought what an improvement he’d be for them. He would take some replacing.

If he was as good as we think he is, he
wouldn't be spending his peak years at a mid table team going nowhere. The problem is that we're so starved of good players that when we have one we big them up beyond what they are.

Put a Pienaar in front of him, and I think he'd be a constant threat.
