Lower Street End tonight

Yeah they both had Le Coq training gear on. Should have been in 'I am a Coq' gear.

tbh that passage of play was awful. McCarthy tracks a player for 25 yards without putting a foot in. Player crosses and McCarthy is actually nodding his head in anger because the fans are rightfully asking for a foot in. Cross slings in, shyte defending by Alcaraz but McCarthy has a chance to clear it but slices it into street end. He tells street end to calm down. Loses his man and they score. He lost his head for 1 minute and learned a very valuable lesson on playing for Everton. It's massive, [Poor language removed] HUGE and there's no hiding place or excuse. He was superb after he got a grip of himself a few minutes later

Don't blame McCarthy at all. I know we're crap, but mass panic in the crowd and people jumping on the players for very little doesn't help.

McCarthy sliced his clearance and got abuse. Why? He's surely one of the hardest workers to ever play in royal blue and made an honest mistake.

I can understand fans angry with a lack of effort, bottling challenges, constant mistakes etc. but the lad cocked up one clearance and got dogs'.

Just a shame they scored from the corner. He probably should have done better there, to be fair.

The bellend count was very high tonight.

The crap football I can take, the crushing defeat after defeat I can take, but im really starting to dislike the majority of match going Everton "fans", so much so that tonight I was questioning whether I would renew my ST due to the constant abuse that some sections of a our "fanbase" think its acceptable to shout, constantly.
Im beginning to think the same.sadly

I think it's time that the Park End, Main Stand and Bullens Road protested against the Lower Gwladys.

We will accept the Upper Gwladys into our ranks but only if they make public their displeasure by throwing stuff at them on Sunday.

I was at Prenton Park tonight watching the Rovers under 12s, otherwise I would have been rar over to Goodison.

I hope UEFA do a Kiev on us and close down the Lower Gwladys Street end but for good.

Koff lad.

All we need to do is add a basic maths test at the turnstiles to prevent the algae from gaining entry.

Something along the lines of 'what's seven plus four?' should work.

Well said.

I wanted to leave in that first half it was that annoying. But after paying £28 I wasn't leaving because a load of petulant arse holes can't deal with being up against it.

I'm as gutted as anyone about how the season has gone in the league etc but the support in that first half was the worst and most negative i've ever known at an Everton game.

They didn't give the players a chance. The tempo was too slow but the exchange with McCarthy was typical of the way some of the fans have been this season. He didn't do himself any favours by the goal going in though!

I'm just sick of the home match routine this season. Players don't start off well, and are too slow. The moaners in the crowd scream and cry about any mistake. If it's a sideways pass they don't like it, if it's a hoof they don't like it.

I've always praised our fanbase up until this season. We have a load of whinging nob heads following us.

I, for my sins, was one of those involved in the disagreement - although I wasn't lobbed out. Basically just prior to their goal, McCarthy sky-sliced a clearance and gave a corner away and the crowd reacted badly. He gestured to the crowd to calm down and then the corner went in and they scored. Everyone went mental and plenty expressed their dislike. Two men who I'm guessing were drunk continued to abuse McCarthy with more vocal vitriol than I've ever heard in my life. They were roughly five rows behind me. One lad turned and told them to shut up and they offered him outside. Others including myself shouted at them to watch the language and they proceeded to start abusing their fellow Evertonians and criticising them for not getting behind their team. By now most of the crowd around them were losing their rag with them and arguments were ensuing everywhere. The stewards kicked them out.

Deserved too. Massive idiots.

He already was outside though
