Might feel a bit more sympathy for him if he hadn't been perfectly happy to discuss becoming Spurs boss after his Holland duties, all of which took place behind Sherwood's back and then as soon as it looked like Moyes was in danger switching his discussions to United, again whilst they still had a manager.
