Some internet rumours saying he's done one of his hamstrings in training. Anyone know if there's any truth in this?

It's so typical I'm going to believe it's true. After his best ever game, he gets injured. That's Everton and that's Louis Saha.

Please stay healthy. Please stay healthy. Please stay healthy. Please stay healthy. Please stay healthy. Please stay healthy. Please stay healthy. Please stay healthy. Please stay healthy. I think I jinxed it. *hangs head in shame*

Twitter rumours say he's out for a month....today I hate twitter. Again, just rumours from what I can see, but so was that Rodwell one....

Aren't we in administration yet?

Adminitration by Monday wasn't it. Two weeks ago.

On the other hand. Some rumours are true. Just administration wasn't one of them.

Made it sound like I called the administration rumour there.... ;-)

Shame this appears to be true! Boooooo

Appeared 33 times in the League in 2009-10, which has been his only season above 24 appearances since 2001-02. I think he's an incredible player and hope he can stay healthy in this coming season.

If he does, and plays as part of a front two of behind the main striker then we'll do well.

Agreed. With him playing in a supporting striker role with Beckford last year (for the 5 mins he was fit) we looked dangerous.

Titanium-fibre hamstring replacements ftw

Shame that injury held him back so much.

That last season with us, he was truly gash.

one of the best all round strikers the prem has seen imo. great in the air, lovely left foot and not bad with his right. seemed as his injury circumstances improved, his on-field performances decreased - probably linked.
