Louis Rene-Xavier Saha

I'm hoping Saha keeps his form, stays injury free and rocks the scoring-charts this season. We all do. There's another interesting thing; The entire world cup squad of France has been suspended for the next international. Remember back in january or so, when Saha was actually called up to play? Injury ****ed it up for him, but i'm sure he has a big chance of getting a second-string french call up for the upcoming game against Norway (maybe Distin or Gueye have a slight chance too??), imagine if he does well there, that'll be a terriffic boost to his morale.

Moyes know how to take a player and really make him shine. The list is long! We could almost field an entire XI of players that have got the diamond-refinement treatment from the Moyesiah: Howard, Lescott, Jags, Cahill, Teta, Pienaar, even Neville to a certain extent (i mean, who would have guessed the oddity that is Phil N. in the future would take up the role as a trusted and competent captain of one of the premier league's biggest teams?) Likewise, Saha has already been properly buffed since his arrival from Man U, but this is a an oppurtunity to add another jewel to the crown of King Luis. All hail!

Anyone else getting bored with these threads by chicoazul with the "middle names"? It was funny for a while but hasn't been for months now. Repetition is comedy to a point, after that it's just proving you are out of ideas.

In fairness he was the first one to spot this. Much missed on here x

yeah but he missed out the bit when its not funny and then because you've stuck with it, becomes funny again.

Aye, abstract humour or something? Or probably me being a tedious bore as usual.

I miss him though, his inner angst often showed through and he was quite the wannabe intellectual. Shame he had a tendency to bite at ludicrous and often childish bait.

A fine poster and no mistake.

Some of the new blood have great potential too. I'm looking forward to a meltdown by one of them in the near future.

Oh and Saha has glass legs and stuff.

Yakubu has 5 league goals in those 9 months. If we're generous and give them 3 months out for the close season and injuries, that still means that two experienced strikers are only averaging a goal PER MONTH between them! It can't go on. Even the non-scoring Emile Heskey has 2 league goals in that time and he's hardly played.
