Lost - WTF

Can somebody please explain what is going on here...wasted 2 hours of my life over the weekend trying to figure it out

1. There seems to be a parallel existence with Jack in LA and back on the island

2. Who are those chinese pirate types with the rowdy rockets

3. Theres 2 John Lockes...one is dead and one turns into a smoke monster - WTF

3. Do you remember at the end of the last season, where Jacob and that other man were on the beach watching that ship come in? Well the Locke that made Ben kill Jacob is that other man...........I think.

It seems he has been on the island as long as Jacob. We don't know his name, Richard knows him, and his name presumably. The writers and fans call him Man In Black, cos of what he was wearing when we first saw him. There was some sort of rule that meant he couldn't kill Jacob directly, so he got Ben to do it for him at the end of S5. Hurley can still see dead people on the island so Jacob communicated with him through that.

Yeah, two parallel timelines, the timeline on the Island is the original and the one that started on the plane is the 'Flashsideways' timeline. Check out Lostpedia, explains a lot =]

And we don't know about the Chinese guy (Dogan) and his translator (Lennon), people are assuming they are the original 'Others', but it seems they are just guardians of the temple, Jacob's followers or something. Might be to do with the Black Rock that Richard came onto the island on too.
 
The name of the guy that was sitting with Jacob at the beach was esau. All I make up right now is that he is a parallel to Jacob and has a rivalry with him. Esau wants jacob dead but he can't do it himself and so he uses John Locke as a loop hole and takes his form to get to jacob.

He told Jacob at the beach back then " I'll find that loop hole"

Jacob replied "when you do, I'll be right here"

Now Esau has found that loop hole in locke and has killed him using Ben. Obviously the smoke monster is Esau himself and he wants people to be free and those who get in his way are killed. When those group of korean flight passengers with Ilans went in to the new looking locke, theywere told that they are free from being jacob's slaves as jacob was the one who brought them here like he did to the oceenic surviviors by going in each and everyone's life.

Now that Jacob is out of the way,he can finish his business which I belive is to go home. Esau(locke) was the one in the cabin in season 4 when locke and ben went in,it was not Jacob and that is why Locke heard the voice of Esau "HELP ME!" That makes sense now.

The people in the temple were all Jacob's people and now that they know that Jacob is no more, they know they face his enemy which is a danger to them. Richard is aware of this danger and that is why upon recognising Esau is locke looked stunned.

It doesn't make sense completely but will come the end of the season.


My questions are these :

1. How do you make people like Richard who don't age?

2. WTF is Claire?

3. What about Christian?

4. Why was Shannon not alongside Boone in the oceanic plane?

5. Why Sayid's death means a danger to the others?
 

The man in black is currently in the form of Locke. When Locke hid behind the pillar/vanished the smoke monster appeared. Jacob can get off the Island, I think the man in black is stuck on the Island. Possibly needed to kill Jacob to gain his powers?? I think he wanted Locke to come back so that he could assume the position of Locke as a method to leave.

I think we've seen the man in black as the likes of Ben's Daughter, Ecko, Dave, Locke, Christian and most recently, Jacob himself??

Maybe....

All I can say is that it better have a kick-arse...explain all ending or Herr Mutzo is gonna get medieval on those lost creators
 
I lost interest in this as soon as I read that the writers were making it all up as they went along. They have as much idea as the viewers as to what's going on.

"Oooh lets put a polar bear in there!"

"Yeah, cool idea. But what does it mean?"

"Dunno, we'll worry about that later."

I dont believe that to be true, if it is they're cleverly digging themselves out of it
 
I'm thinking maybe I'd rather look directly into the sun that watch an episode of this. :mellow:
