ForeverEverton

Player Valuation: £50m
Have supported Everton for 22 years, since the age of seven, and every season I optimistic (even in the dark days of the 90`s) but after doing so much last season, I am disappionted by the lack of activity and I think I`m losing all interest in this season.

I just get the feeling it will be a struggle and DM will walk !!!!!!!!

No chance, even if we dont sign anyone it just means for me the team need more support!(y)

I dont really give a stuff about transfers, if we replaced Johnson and Cars id be happy.

Its all about the Game!

You do really, lets be honest now.

I know what your feeling, its friday tommorrow and i should be buzzing with excitement, but i really dont want sat to come...the way things are i can only see dark days ahead.

If we lose on Sat i can see moyes walking :(

Well said mate. I will back my team, and listen to all RS on how bad we are, but still be proud.

It my team, that´s it.

Ah to an extent mate, i know there are a lot of young players coming through and am happy to wait a year or two in the top ten untill they can make a difference if its going to make the club skint by signing players. I actually hoped we would make only a couple of additions to the depth of the squad as i didnt think we needed that much to be added to the squad with the quality already in the team, but then Carsley and Johnson left. Little wonder this season is being written off by some supporters when the club have shown no ambition to make a fist of season 08/09.

The last 2 or 3 years I've expected us to qualify for Europe, right from the start of the season. Right now, if you offered me a top 10 finish, I'd bite yer hand off. It's a comedown, and that's hard to take. Ten years ago though there were seasons when we would start off one of the favourites for relegation. Let's face it, we've got a lot more reason to be optimistic than we did then.

Imagine if (I said imagine...) Moyes shows up on the OS tomorrow with three players holding up Everton shirts.

Would you feel any different?

People are making a big deal out of the youngsters, I've only been impressed with two and even there far from ready. The rest won't make it here.

We need 3-5 signings if we are even going to think about having a decent season. We've been let down big time.

Anyway, I've heard from someone that we would get someone in by Saturday/Sunday so I'm hoping someone comes off.

I'm tired of being held captive by Newsnow and all the media. I am to the point now were I couldn't care less if we sign anyone.

What I do know is we will certainly struggle due to the numbers game and cover for injuries and suspension which will always rear there ugly head. But the silver lining to all this is a run in the team for the youngsters and hopefully our crocked players coming back.

I'm not anywere feeling even after the first week that we will be relegation fodder just middle of the pack and building in the right direction taking a years pause. If thats what it takes to save some money and keep going then so be it.

This weeks fixture looks very dodgy to me. WBA looked very impressive at the Emirates last week. I myself don't believe this will be a easy game at all I just hope we score early and don't go into a shell or the bumpy ride will continue until Little Timmie gets back.

Mowbray is a cagey manager. He'll have this marked out as a bonus three pointer to help them stay in the division. I'd be happy with a draw.

With Cahill Pienaar & Vic coming back and Vaghan hopefully staying fit, if we could replace Johnson and Cars i would be content, i have a lot of time for the youngstars if im honest and think its an approriate way to go rather then either sign players who wont improve us or put to the club in jepordy by spending beyond our means.

We've finished fourth with worse squads and loolking at other clubs thigs are not as rosey as they are at Everton IMO.

Which clubs are in worse situations than Everton? I can't see anyone worse at the moment, none of the clubs we are competing with anyway.

I cannot wait for the new season. As always these days I'm looking forward to seeing how we will get out of our usual pre season mess and prove what a great club this is.
