Long Throw In's

A goalkeeper can get booked and penalised for an 8 sec delay, but on Sunday, Spurs were taking over 30 secs for some throw ins. Dont know who comes up with these ideas 'to improve and speed up the game' but they need to look at this.
They are talking about bringing in the same time rule as they do for keepers, so if you take longer than say 6 seconds the throw in will be handed to the other team..

Something needs to be sorted cos its just another drain on the game.

Brentford average 50 seconds to take a throw in.

Turning more and more into NFL where it’s just a stream of set pieces with massive breaks of play inbetween

I think managers are simply doing it to protect the players who are playing way too much football.
 

Talk of the TV companies not being happy with the amount of time taken and goals scored from set pieces, they feel its taking away from the entertainment value
