How should I repay the country that has given me asylum?

I know, I will knife some random strangers in a public park.

Sadly alot of these idiots come over with the main intention of attacking from within.

Where was the arena bomber born ? I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure He didn’t come here with the intention of planning terrorist attacks since I believe he was born in the Uk .

His family were Libyan with his dad a hardline terorrist supporter.

I've told you lad im more right than left when it comes to stuff like crime/terrorism - our government both Labour/Tory have been tosh with dealing with islamic extremism.

If it wasn't for our surveillance network foiling alot of plots/cells there would be a hell of alot more attacks going on therefore you have to ask just how many nutjobs with the intention of causing harm do we let over without proper screening?

Proper screening is NOT the same as "ban all muslims from entering the UK"

Ok so to break it down I’m certainly not advocating that anyone , regardless of their threat to the uk be allowed in . However your first comment Basically indicated you think there is some kind of ‘homeland’ type sleeper policy operating by Muslim extremists and to support that you quoted a horrific mass murder committed by a British born Muslim .

Secondly on the dad that’s a whole debate in
Itself . If I’m right he was first a supporter of gaddifi then a supporter of LIFG which I assume is your terrorist organisation . The history of that group and the uk , well The west ,is in itself enough to fill a thread . We’ve supported it even rumoured to have been hand in glove with it trying to
Assassinate gaddafi until after 9/11 we tried to be his best mate . All I mean I Don’t think it’s as simple as some Media would have you believe. To be clear I’m not saying there aren’t suspicions around the dad I’m just saying if you’re referring to the links he had when he came here I’d think there was a lot going on .

If it was upto me I would refuse entry to anyone/family who have experience of being in warfare over there / use of explosives/ heavy weaponry. I remember seeing the dad teach the kids how to fire rifles when they were younger amongst over things.

I just think its too risky as alot of these terrorists on homegrown soil seem to either be indoctrinated by family who moved here from certain parts of the Middle East or whilst in prison.

I think the government could do more in help tackling both instances.

Difference between fleeing war and engaging/supporting particular groups involved in it - I think you know that really mate.

Throughout the whole immigration process from claiming asylum, right through to citizenship and applicant from certain countries will go through a war crimes check to ensure they haven’t been involved in the above.

Its not really enough though is it? I mean if you have someone who supports the beheading of people then they are given entry just because they havent ever physically beheaded someone.

Very blurry lines and sadly many people have paid the price for it in this country over the years with many more saved largely thanks to our surveillance service.

I do mate and I kind of understand the thinking but if you’re burning my village I fight back I’m banned. If you’re exterminating my race I’m banned , if I’m fighting because the Uk are funding me I’m banned .

also people lie , they lie a lot and there is nowhere near the resources to investigate .

I think as sad as it is to refuse any asylum seeker entry the government of this or any country does have the main responsibility to ensure that its own people are kept as safe as possible.

For me thats why I would personally be a strict as possible with entry of people from certain countries currently at/recovering from war/rebel groups - its the same with the debate on flights during Coronavirus- the doors should have been slammed shut as soon as it arrived in the UK but we are too soft at times.
