sounds like he's doing well but surely he should be playing at a higher level than league 2 if he's to have any chance getting into our 1st team any time soon?

I'm personally happy he's at that level - develop physically against the grocks, knock a few in for his confidence, ship him out to League 1/Championship next season, see how he is at January and if he's scoring goals for fun then he's a squad option.

Time is on his side - not every player has to make the first team grade by age 21. The last few to come through like Osman and Hibbert have been 20 or near it before hitting the first team - it's only the truly exceptional that come through and make an impression earlier.

Lundstram played 90 mins in a 5-1 win for Orient today, Pennington played 90 mins in a 2-1 win for Tranmere, Hope played 90 mins in a 2 -0 win for Bury, Kennedy played 59 mins in a 2-0 defeat for MK Dons and Duffy played 90 mins in a 1-1 draw for Yeovil.

Went to see an old uni mate this Monday and found myself watching MK Dons vs Brentford. Matty Kennedy played a full 90 minutes and looked lively, clever, quick and hardworking. He may need a bit more strength just like Coleman did but he looks like he has bags of potential

I know a big financial backer at Bury, they want Hope next season. They love him.

This may just be what he needed. Looked to be stagnating.

The Deulofeu loan is one of hopefully more interesting talents with a continental background adding to our team, I wonder if it the club is looking into doing something similar the other way around? Would be interesting if Evertons youngsters could get experience from Spain or Germany etc if possible.
