Still, Corbyn seemed the epitome of sanity compared to Truss.

Not really - the people who could have been described as Tories were often those who aped Tory arguments and who got rewards off the Tories for betraying him (and the rest of us). Rats like Woodcock and Austin for example, who now sit in the Lords.

There were loads of reasons to critique Corbyn - as various well-meaning people did on here - but sadly there were far more people who used the same arguments against him, irrespective of where those arguments came from or what it would lead to.
