The flack Martinez is going to get for this if it goes as expected now will be through the roof.

Only from the FIFA pro knowitalls on here.

The vast majority of Evetonians know he had no other choice given how Stones has looked like a duck out of water at RB.

Hibbo will be fine.

Roberto will be fine.

Everton will be fine.

COYB.

I think this game we'll see us get back to the "old" derby days with a lot of red cards.

Balotelli and Besić are nailed on to get sent off.

Just seen the team...... Hibbert...... How can we possible win playing that clown. Wasn't he watching the game on Tuesday, the poor lad never stopped one cross and kept turning his back at every opportunity something any defender is coached not to do from schoolboy upwards, The bloke has been stealing money from Everton fans for years, I'd rather see a kid play RB than Hibbert. I'd love to be proved wrong but he's let the team down so many times I can't see a sudden change in his limited abilities. Let's hope we score more gaols than they do.

Looking at it with a calmer head, if Distin is injured then his options were narrow, but after watching that Swansea game I really would have went with Browning, or even McCarthy/Besic. Anyone other than Hibbert. I haven't seen as poor a game at right back than that since Carl Serrant.

Why is Martinez taking flak?

Coleman is injured. What else could he do?

We need to keep Stones/Jagielka at CB - Hibbert was his only option. He's put Besic in to give us that extra support, he'll probably be told, as he was at the World Cup to 'do a Messi' on Sterling.

If Coleman ended up unable to play again or worse yet dead.

Shouldn't mess with brain injuries

Three DM's and one natural winger, I feel or formation is consistently changing and quite often it's an irregular line up/formation, were not going to get any consistancy or fluency when we keep changing things. (I have no problems rotating players it's more when we do what we're doing today with the three DM's and one proper winger)

I feel even Bobby has no faith in Hibbo now I think he plans on playing McCarthy or Besic quite a bit over on the right so they can support Hibbo.

I still think Oviedo and Garbutt would be better tried over there but Oviedo wouldn't be up to starting, especially after he played Wednesday. To be totally honest I think it's to big of a game to start Garbutt especially we were playing him out of position. Something we must look into in future weeks though.

If I was Bobby I woulda started Garbutt on the left and Baines on the right. Far from ideal but I think it's the best we've got.
