Kenny Dalglish says Everton's 15-year Anfield hoodoo is not psychological. In his Daily Mirror column, the Liverpool legend said: "It is just down to Everton not being good enough in those particular fixtures to get a result. I think it will be the same as usual on derby day."

Oh how I wish to get a win today.

ah yes, hence why we finished above them 3 times? in that time.

or where they all flukes?

Must win i believe in coleman and baines can be the heros to day comeeeeee onnnn!!!! And i would like bešić in the starting line because he plays with nuts!!!!!! COYB

Did they not lead 1-0 that day.....it was 1-0 at half time and it could have been 6?

Then the Milkman equalised just after half time and we battered them, took a 2-1 lead only for the inevitable soft penno to rescue a point for them?
Correct, we were behind then ahead then TimH went mental and shoved lady boy over in no real danger. Beck fords goal was excellent. My only Anfield derby since 1984! Could never be as good again! Maybe today though lads who knows. Just turn up lads and get stuck in. They are really not all that.

The past is the past and we only have ourselves to blame for not winning enough derbies over the last 10 years. It´s a new match today and the teams are very evenly matched. Hard to call.

No, no, no...he's got concussion...the GOT doctors have said so.

I don't know whether he has a concussion or not

I was just taking you to task for trying to dismiss how serious a concussion can be

It's such a backward attitude that too many people seem to have

"Oh, it's just a knock on the head, he'll be fine"

I can say from personal experience that concussions are very serious and can really mess you up

Ah well, off to the boozer to watch the game. No doubt will be surrounded by the palstic kopites. At least there will be Man City supporters cheering us on and a good few Hull City as well. The neutrals favourite my backside.

I watched too many Derbies to ever be optimistic. But who could have thought we'd tonk them 3-0 at Goodison and Reina would act the clown on a bright September morn. We haven't won at their place for god knows when and every year is the same, hope only to be dashed. The 1990s we had our best derby record won 7, including 2 at Anfield and lost 7, we played with passion and intensity and had game changing players. For too long lately we have rolled over meekly and not even put up much of a fight at their place. Without Suarez they are not even half the team they were last season. I get the feeling that the players know how important this one is, and particularly after the bad run of results, and expect them to rise to the occasion.

COYB.
