Liverpool Player You Hated The Most

F*** Off McMahon
F*** Off McMahon

Used to love belting that one out whenever we played 'em

I tell you who I hate with a passion is Steve Nicol! That fella nearly ran me off my bike when he was haring around Heswall in his XR4i. Bell of the highest order - and for that alone - he gets my vote!

Strange but once they leave them lot I stop hating them and they don't bother me anymore. There's two exceptions - Carragher for referring everything back to Liberpewl and mentioning the Derby 236 times since the Derby.

But the only one I'd pay to punch in the face is Aldo.

There are too many. McMahon, Aldridge and Gerrard, Carragher and Ince stand out, like. Emlyn Hughes and Phil Thompson probably would as well if I was a couple of years older.

Despite him being up there with Darth Vader or Skeletor to me as a kid I can't find the same hatred for Ian Rush, despite feeling like I should. Only a grudging respect.

I hate the lot of them they always seem to get the rub of the green even when they leave the pit to go elsewhere , remember St.John leaving to join Coventry (I think) Coventry came to G P when the Coventry team coach arrived there was literally a few hundred giving monkey features loads of stick and of course he scores,Him that went to Italy and came back cos he couldn't get beans on toast in Italy ended up at the Barcodes he came and scored against us, so I find it easier to hate the lot of them, always have always will and for that I make no apologies.

Growing up it would have to be Rush, then it has moved onto to Gerrard.

But I have a total hatred of Aldridge for the utter crap that comes out of that phoneys mouth.

Emlyn Hughes. Probably an age thing. And he ruined Question of Sport for me.

I just pity the rent a quote blerts like Thompson and Aldridge.

Dont mind Carragher Fowler and Mcmanaman as pundits tbh.

And some like Owen and Rednapp, for example, I dont really think of them as ingrained Liberpool players for some reason.

Tough choice but after weighing everything up it has to be Jamie Carragher. I hat ehis professional scouse routine, his prissy reaction to a bit of mickey taking (the bit that stopped him supporting Everton), his constant need to 'prove' how 'hard' he is, his bitter reaction whenever they won at Goodison... juxtaposed with his pronouncements that derbies were just another game, his GBH on Lescott...

Absolute holocaust of a human being.

Ian Rush. Utterly detest the man.
honoury mentions for Aldridge, Gerrard and Suarez.

To be fair most of their players over the years have been total blenders.
Only a few from the glorious early 90s can be classed as Legends in my eyes. Carter, Walters, Dicks etc true greats.
