It's so painful to watch Harrison & Doucoure. They both work hard, they both cover plenty of distance but they are both god awful at football. Harrison's passing today was Sunday league levels. I reckon we get a lot more out of Ndiaye, Charlie, Beto etc when we have players who can actually pass. Play a one two & do it in a way that doesn't want to make you pull out your own eyeballs.
Please Everton, I beg you to buy players who can pass.

my understanding of the rules is that if you dont touch the ball or are in the way of the keeper seeing the ball, it isnt offside. Different rules though.
Crap rule. How does the defender with his back to them and to the other defenders know if they are offside? If Tarks had let it go through then it doesn’t end up as a goal, but you play to the whistle, so have to expect that play continues and intercept.

I just hate their lot so much. Howling for every touch of a player, anything that is normal is just like you’ve kicked their Grans down the stairs. Just such self righteous, hypocritical weasels. VVD does a judo throw on Tarky off the ball, just a foul. Standard. Hear their lot with the sarcastic cheers when they got a foul? Hahaha, they got EVERYTHING! Kills me.

Second half performance was pretty dire from us - just a predictability about a moyes (or in general an Everton) performance at Anfield. Forgot about attacking.

Decent enough first half and Beto just has to finish that - it’s a poor miss in my book, goes wrong side again. Goal changes things…but alas same old inevitable story.

We just sat back and tried to absorb the pressure. I was hoping that we'd be a bit more confident on the ball, as we have been of late. But they were all over us and when they scored it wasn't really much a surprise. Shame really.
