...strange that Brighton came in for Duffus last month and we turned the bid down. It's a bit of a predicament now, I think we brought him in from another club (Cheltenham?) so even if he's offered a contract he might fancy a better chance of league football in the Championship. I'm not sure where we stand with a transfer fee.

Yeh who knows, depends what they offered. Maybe if he's openly available in the summer they can get a bigger fee?

...I'm not sure to be honest. My understanding is that he's a player we brought in (from Cheltenham Town?). Also, I think a contract offer needs to be on the table. I would think the club knew what they were doing when turning down the Brighton bid.

Duffus looks physically able, he impressed in the recent game v Man Utd U23s. I think he might have been on the bench once or twice for our first team before an injury struck. I don't know what will happen with him.
