Kettle and iron sorted mate.
Have got an ironing board as well, but got to head to a couple of places before going to yours so will head down with it sometime later in the week or before the match on Saturday or whatever suits.

Just left Sergei's now. We've got the sofa upstairs, but he now needs the help of members of our bumming or felching fraternities to supply vaseline and willpower to force a large object in a hole not designed to take it.
He's now got a kettle so you're alright for a brew!

Huge sofa is still in the communal hall, other tennants are hardly happy with this but I can do nothing with this.
Just cleaned the house one more time, looks better now.

If others can get down, I can get my fella to go tonight to try and sort the sofa or will it just not fit at all?

Bit of a weird one cos I don't think it's any bigger than the one that's in there. Needs someome with a bit of nouse in moving furniture and as a previous poster said, the legs may have to come off.
Would volunteer but back's knackered after getting it up the stairs.
PS it's not that heavy.

By the way have you started painting yet? Maybe we could arrange a 'Changing rooms' ' 60 minute makeover ' type session where everyone turns up and blitzes your flat !
