I honestly couldn't care less about the guys politics and general views on life. Good for him, whatever they are. I just wish he wasn't on MOTD because he's an objectively terrible pundit and host that drags the whole thing down and make it borderline unwatchable most weeks.

How does he? He links the football with the pundits very well and has a laugh. There nothing to dislike about his motd work

Its just all very cringeworthy and boys club type thing. Perhaps I'm just a stick in the mud but I find all his little attempts at humor and banter so forced and embarrassing. He's just not what I want from a football host/pundit and I'm not a fan of his work on it mate.

To each their own mate. There's no right or wrong opinion here, I'm glad you enjoy his work. I just don't, and feel like MOTD is the worst that its ever been as a program. And that's ok, we can agree to differ. We don't all have to like the same things.

I just find the whole group of the current crop very cringeworthy. I think their attempts and humour and banter unbelievably forced. It's not like I don't enjoy any modern pundits. The hosts for MOTD2 have mostly always been better imo. I never hear anything remotely interesting from the pundits or hosts on the main show that an idiot couldn't have figured out for themselves.
