Agree but think Doucoure won't be chucked quite yet.Can absolutely see Tarkowski starting, until Moyes gets to see up close what O’Brien will offer him. Mykolenko another starter, simply because he’s the only left footer, even if Moyes will see his limited abilities immediately. Armstrong won’t be starting, simply due to age / lack of experience. I’ve a feeling he may go with Lindstrom in the 10 role, and lash Doucoure in the skip at Finch Farm. I think Moyes will be content with what he has on offer defensively, so his task will be to devise a way of offering an offensive / counter attacking threat, something Dyche failed to do.
Yea he's been terrible for us on the RW, cutting back to give a weird angled crosses for Dom or losing it when trying to as you say. Made no sense playing him there other than his tracking back which was priority one for DycheDidn’t know that, I only realised a few weeks ago that he’s left footed. I think he’s a diabolical footballer, gives the ball away far too much.
It would be wild to sign an actual right winger, then play Harrison at LW(where he has had his success), Ndiaye behind the striker(Where he has had his success), and just in general a bunch of guys where they succeeded throughout their careers. Im not saying Harrison would be any good, but we have two guys playing RW out of position in Harrison and Lindstrom and are surprised when both arent good at the position they were never good at.he'll surely try Harrison in his preferred position at least once before bombing him
It's insane, yet Dyche claimed in his last presser that he was trying players out in different ways to find solutions. Every way but their most effective way.It would be wild to sign an actual right winger, then play Harrison at LW(where he has had his success), Ndiaye behind the striker(Where he has had his success), and just in general a bunch of guys where they succeeded throughout their careers. Completely agree, and think lwb suits McNeil perfect tbh, crosses from deep and his work rate, and think Lindstrom would thrive similarly to Ndiaye in this formation playing behind the striker more centrallyI’d be interested in a 343 until we have adequate attacking wingers and depth. The glaring weakness here is of course the left wing back - Myko simply cannot play it. I wonder if McNeil could play there for now? I hate to play McNeil out of position though given his goal contributions in the middle.

(Sorry if the formatting messes up there, I’m on mobile typing this)
Might not be overly popular but makes us massive in both boxes, allows more width with the wing backs and plays to patterson’s strengths. Ndaiye and McNeil prefer drifting inside anyway so suits them as well. Gets doucoure out the team and lets you actually rotate the midfield when needed.
The left back situation is so awful though it’s like it undermines every formation.
Just feel like this would suit us right now.
Funny but also spot onHe definitely going to pick a player you all hate and play him in a position you all don’t agree with and do this to the point where it could be considered harassment
It’s going to be hilarious
