Over in Lille, I found the locals and student population very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed their hospitality shown throughout. I expect nothing different from ourselves in the same situation, because we are a class above other supporters. Pity about their policeforce though.

Do we really tho? We had one rough night in hostile city manned by over aggressive police! I like to think our reputation across Europe is pretty good?

Met with 3 Lille fans in town tonight. They were disappointed with how quiet it was. They wanted to know if GP would be 'safe' tomorrow. I assured them it would be and directed them to TheWilmslow. They confirmed that they are not known as aggressive supporters but that the French police are vicious. They apologised for them.
