McBain

Player Valuation: £80m
Italian club Palermo are believed to be showing interest in Everton midfielder Leon Osman.
The 29-year old has spent his entire career at Goodison Park apart from loan spells with Carlisle and Derby more than six years ago so it would be hard to believes if David Moyes was prepared to part with him.
Palermo reportedly want to bring in Osman to help them grab a Champions League spot this season but Moyes would be loathe to lose him as the Toffees prepare for a big season in the Premier League.

What the what now?!

We can only dream.

I personally think he'd do well in a less physical league. He's tidy with the ball and he's got a good shot on him.

He would look great in their pink shirt, would be a cracking move for the lad, but would he get 1st team football there?

Unless its serious money we should keep him.

What would it take for us to part with him? £5 million? £8 million?

I hate all the Ossie bashers, I am not one, but he isn't first team material anymore. A decent offer and it could be a good move for everyone.

He should go get some Sun, play for someone else at the highest level before he gets shipped off.

Who plays for one club their whole life anymore anyway?

BORING

Hes not 1st team and I admit im not his greatest fan, I find him very average at times, but other times he reminds me of an English Messi.

Hes a loyal lad, keeps his head down and never moans, love players like that, so yes unless its BIG money, I dont see the need to ever get rid.

I do think it would be a good move for him.

I'd be sad to see him leave...he's not first choice, but time after time he can produce the goods against the big boys like he did last year. Still, he'll never be in my first X1. Can't see a bid of more than 5m, can't actually see it happening in truth, but I wouldn't begrudge him a move at all. He deserves some first team football, which I'm not totally sure he'd be guaranteed there either?? Hmm

I wouldn't want us spending any of this potential money for another replacement to pack the bench though.......

8 million would probably be fair, anything lower and it's a big no for me. He's worth more to us than 4-5 million.

He does well in this League and when Arteta's injured or unable to play Osman should be the man to replace him in the middle of the park. I've always rated him as a CM but he definitely added things to his game last season, getting stuck in and being much more aware defensively. His form since he returned from injury against BATE has been outstanding.

No chance we'd get £8m, they'd probably only offer half of that.
