I'd be ok with a midfield of Naismith - Osman - Fellaini - Oviedo right to left if Pienaar is out. Let Anichebe play in the hole, did well vs Chelsea and the drifting positions of him, Naismith and Jelavic created some space for the midfield to use. I'd feel more secure with Felli in instead of Hitzlsperger as he still doesn't seem to have the fitness levels.

Our defence need to be right on their toes though, as we can't take anymore mistakes like the ones which let Ba score last time. Should put pressure high up in the pitch to make sure they can't take time to aim their hoofs at Ba, not to worried about their central midfield but it's sure to be a battle. Rather have Jags than Neville against Cisse on the right if that's how they set up.

I know we don´t have anything better while Mirallas is injured, but for me playing Naismith right midfield looks like playing with 10 men. Does he ever do anything but fall over?

Haha, probably not.

But it's better than ruining our central midfield by moving Osman out of there. Could maybe play Anichebe/Barkley right and in the hole but I think that's to risky for Moyes. Against Chelsea Barkley's eagerness to make an impression meant he lost the ball a few times when we were going forward which means Jags gets drawn out of position. I wouldn't want that away to Newcastle.

Safest bet is probably Hitzl in beside Osman, Felli in the hole and Anichebe on the right. Fairly balanced and enough physicality to hopefully see us through.

He's a left mid actually. Sticking him on the right wouldnt be a problem, same with how Pienaar has been used.
