Been gone for so long now I feel like a new signing...
Going by my inbox, it seems some stuff happened while I was gone and I just hope Cabby's alright, also an apology to Dylan for missing our evening of drunken debauchery. Long story short, the economy kicked another arse and so I lost a second source of income that was basically funding all my non-essentials. I know, I know...GOT non-essential? Yup, I'm 'fraid so popcorn munchers...'fraid so. I rode the storm out perhaps longer than I should have and had to cut chords all over the shop in one fell swoop one evening as I went into panic mode. I suppose I can at least lay claim to now knowing how to run a country...should look great on the CV.
Have to admit it was nice to be off the 'net for a while. I'd been on almost every day since the days of Netscape and Windows 3.1 so it was kind of refreshing to unplug for a bit, apart from it not being of my own volition. It was eerie how long it didn't take me to adjust without it considering how long I'd been on it so I suppose it really is no different than television in that regard...entertaining, but mostly bollocks once you step away from it for a bit.
Anyhow, back to your bumming, I've got work to do! Funny how you can now work more and make less. Ok, it's not funny...but there you go.
