being linked with a move to Bristol City for £1 million+. Bit gutted if we sell him. I always thought he would make it at us. Maybe his size is a factor. He has been unlucky with injuries and his loan at Birmingham. Hopefully it doesn’t happen.

Always thought he was technically very good.

But he’s aged 20 with no sign of breaking into this first team any time soon, has had some injury problems already and is a 5ft 6 centre midfielder. Davies and Baningime are both younger than him, and ahead of him.

Think he’ll certainly be talented enough for The Championship, shame some of the cloggers will kick hell out of him. If he can stand up to that I’m sure he’ll be a success, but I think it’s probably fine for all parties if he’s allowed to move on.

Good luck to him, he is putting his career first to get first team games.

Hopefully he does well and gets a move back to the premiership.

Maybe a buyback clause would be best for all parties.

I was talking to a few of are youth players a while back about him , said he is really strong despite his size, hard to knock of the ball ect.
Looks like he could be a cracker player , hope we put a buy back clause in the transfer.
Not going to get a look in here so might be better for himself to get a move and game time.

Oh I don’t doubt it.

But coming up against Michael Brown and Lee Cattermole types is a different prospect than Under 23 football, isn’t it.

Yeah buy back clause is a must. I remember a couple of years ago they said he was the best of the bunch.

He handled that side of things well at yeovil in league 2 I think

...it comes to a point with all these youngsters where you have to make a decision. I’m a big fan of the lad but he’s had injury problems and I don’t think Koeman rated him that highly (didn’t take him on warm weather training to Dubai last season but took other youngsters).

He plays in a position where we are quite well covered and other central midfielders are coming through from the years below. He’ll be making a very nice living out of the game and I don’t have a problem if the club let him move. I assume a sell on clause will be part of the deal.
