Genuinely interested to know what the “there’s a player in there” crew have specifically seen that has led them to such a conclusion, other than probably looking on Wikipedia and seeing he scored 12 for Ipswich once upon a time.
Lukaku springs to mind not that Delap has the same potential
That Luton striker Adebayo scored 10 in 27 games and now he's playing league 1 ( quite a few posters on here wanted him )One season in the premier league where he scored 12 goals aged 21 for an awful Ipswich side then at a dysfunctional Chelsea side where he wasn't a starter he had a bad season.
I don’t want to be the only one defending him, but he has better technique and strikes the ball better than Barry, Beto and even Dom. As ridiculous as lots of people on here will probably find it - me too having watched him struggle last night! - I don’t think it’s that big a leap to imagine that if he came here and got the style of play and stable home he needs, he could be leading the line for England this time next year.Genuinely interested to know what the “there’s a player in there” crew have specifically seen that has led them to such a conclusion, other than probably looking on Wikipedia and seeing he scored 12 for Ipswich once upon a time.

I misunderstood there - when you said you were genuinely interested, I thought you genuinely meant it!He strikes the ball like me mate. FWIW Beto is by no means a technically gifted footballer and he strikes the ball much cleaner than Delap.
Yeah forget the England stuff, unless they’re reforming the D team.
Decent strikers probably realised how we treated him in the end and stayed away. Can we buy a goalscorer please, oh for the days of Lukaku..

Anytime now we’ll manage to spread his goals around the team.
He would need a neck brace with the HOOF ballI don’t want to be the only one defending him, but he has better technique and strikes the ball better than Barry, Beto and even Dom.
