I don’t want to be the only one defending him, but he has better technique and strikes the ball better than Barry, Beto and even Dom. As ridiculous as lots of people on here will probably find it - me too having watched him struggle last night! - I don’t think it’s that big a leap to imagine that if he came here and got the style of play and stable home he needs, he could be leading the line for England this time next year.
He strikes the ball like me mate. FWIW Beto is by no means a technically gifted footballer and he strikes the ball much cleaner than Delap.
