BBC peddling some Mane interview about horrible memories of the last Derby
Pathetic isn’t it?

It was okay for their match day feed people to call Van Dyke the daddy for going through DCL & Rodriguez early on though in that game.

You’d think it was the biggest injustice in football history the way they’re still crying about it.

Leg it BBC. Get it?

I’ve reached a point in which I’m not even nervous the day before a Derby now. It’s just the inevitable that we know what is coming.

22 years at Anfield without a win and 11 years in total for any win is just disgraceful.

I doubt the Barcelona Derby is that one sided and they practically dominated football for a decade.
Espanyol haven’t beaten Barca since 2008 and have only won 34 league meetings since the first Derbi Barceloni in 1928

In contrast we’ve won just 57 league derbies across 2 different variations of the top flight since the first meeting in 1894

Its mad sad to say but a win tomrorrow would be the biggest moment in our recent history. It would lay the foundations of success. Carlos first full season beating them at Anfield after drawing at goodison. Level on points with a game in hand. Everton have the power to have me waking up for the next couple of weeks with a smile on my face here.

We can win this game but we need some luck before the game. Firstly Allan and DCL have to be fit, back in the starting line up and both have to be at their best. If either doesn’t happen forget it. Also drop Iwobi and Sig. Neither are big game players. I would play a front 3 of Digne, DCL and Richarlison on the right. Play diagonals to Digne all day to counter their press and we have a chance. Goes with out saying but we have to defend like we did at wolves/Leeds/Leicester and stop them getting in behind. Their is always the risk one of their cheats will throw one in from 25 yards but we will have to accept that.

I already feel sick at the prospect of this game, always do, but it's not being helped by everybody picking their teams and not including Davies in the starting 11. He's been head and shoulders above anyone in the last three/four games and needs to be on the pitch for ninety minutes against these.

If we do somehow win, it’ll give Carlo the 3rd best start in league derbies in the PL era. Currently Joe Royle has the best start with 7 points from his first 3 derbies, Howard Kendall is second with 6, Walter Smith is 3rd with 4 points, Carlo currently has 2 points.

Worried by this one TBH, both teams not in good form but we know we can "Hide" better than any other team in the PL.

Our last 6
Drew Leicester (H) 1-1
Lost Newcastle (H) 0-2
Won Leeds (A) 2-1
Drew Man Ure (A) 3-3
Lost Fulham (H) 0-2
Lost Man Citeh (H) 1-3
5 points, scored 7 and conceded 12

Their last 6
Lost Burnley (H) 0-1
Won Tottenham (A) 3-0
Won West Ham (A) 3-1
Lost Brighton (H) 0-1
Lost Man Citeh (H) 1-4
Lost Leicester (A) 1-3
6 points, scored 8 conceded 10

Lost their last 3 home games, you know what that means! Wasn`t it nice to see them bounce back with a win against RB Leipzig in the CL on Tuesday while we got bummed on Wednesday. 100% the excuse that they had one extra day rest is coming out after, probably got the excuses lined up already........

But it is a Derby and you never know, however I`ve seen enough of us at Analfield to know that no matter how good we are and bad they are they will always come out on top. Expect nothing other than the gloating RS getting 3 points and claiming "They are back".

Such is the life of an Evertonian
