Today showed why he should go on loan for me. Not that he was bad but you could see how raw he is. Needs consistent football and we could have a solid player on our hands.

He's got potential, is he going to see it emerge by being with us, it will be very hard in a team under the pump on and off the field, hope he has big shoulders every time he steps onto the field.

Getting played out wide but he played as an out and out attacker when he was in tbe youth teams.
Thought he looked better in that position.
Got the tools to be a very decent player if he is given the chance and time.

Genuinely thought last time I saw him at Derby, he was MILES off the level.

Thought he was one of our better players on Sunday, even though Villa had stepped off the gas a bit, was very bright. Not sure if my assessment at Derby is a reflection now - perhaps not miles away, not quite ready for regular starts, but on option of the bench.

Perhaps he may be a casualty of not ever being comfortable in games, meaning he cant get any minutes that aren't really under any pressure.
