It was a rhetorical question mate I said that it's about pathway we need to be giving him more of one or he will leave yes. You are pushing at an open door with me I'm not a Rondon fan even from when we were linked I said he would end up as deadwood.

I like the look of Dobbin though he has pace and something about him and he has got a few mins here and there not many 18 year olds do in the PL these days so hoping he extends.

I think his foot was kicked just a bit earlier than the contrived leg contact. Either way it wasn't a pen, Sarah/Mane/Ronaldo don't get booked for diving in the exact same circumstances but the teenage lad does.

Also says substantial interest from Germany and Dobbin is considering options.

Not sure why we’ve left this so late, he can begin agreeing pre-contract deals with foreign clubs from tomorrow.

I'd say we haven't left it late, he has. He's well within his rights to wait until now, see what offers come in and then make his decision. We could give him a huge wage I suppose and end up with the next Pennington or Garbutt but I don't think anybody really wants that.

The Athletic don't really have that much of a read on these things. They were bullish with Small saying he'd re-sign and cautious with Gordon and Astley. With that said I do think he's gone at the end of the season. The manager won't play him until he signs and the player won't sign unless he plays.
