A couple of years on and the 'Current Affairs' forum has been a success. When we asked, 100% in a poll wanted it to stay.
Recently, we've had a couple of incidents were one or two have been a little overzealous or emotional - it's a real shame when some allow politics/current affairs to spoil their experience on GOT.
A reminder then that The Current Affairs forum is largely unmoderated. Our moderators take a step back from moderating. We won't/can't moderate this forum as we do the rest of the site, nor will we allow it to monopolise our time.
If we find anyone who finds this forum a bit too much, they become high maintenance and generally not suitable for this forum, we'll revoke their access to the current affairs forum.
A reminder that we also ask that issues within the Current Affairs forum, stay within Current Affairs forum. 'Leave it at the door'
This forum worked really well since launching in Jan 2017 but it took a bad turn and it needed a pause to take the sting out of the ugly direction in which it was going. 80%+ of you wanted it back, so over a month later here we are.
The Current Affairs is really simple. Can please everyone read the above quoted post again to refresh memories as to what this forum is.
Thanks
