A formation change could be considered evolution based on the performances thus far. We got a squad equipped to play numerous formations.

One up front has yielded us one goal in three games despite vastly superior possession in each game.

The World Cup (with England at least) seemed to show that changing formations isn't as easy as suggested. Presumably a great deal of time in training, during friendlies and so on is given to ensuring the players know what they should be doing on the pitch. I suspect it'll be minor changes to personnel rather than to the formation.

They had their chances too mate. And were coming off teh back of a ****ting by a newly promoted side.

I didn't say I'm happy. I just prefer to at least acknowledge the positive. They took a battering today and held on to an early goal from a defensive lapse. Yes, they had a few chances....but we had WAY more. There may be games this year that we win when we get outplayed.

History would suggest you're probably right mate. At the least, Cahill should not be undroppable.

TA-DAAAAAAAAAA

No one should be undroppable. Personally I'd have Felli and Rodwell as the two, with Arteta, Pienaar and Bily as the three behind a striker. But Moyes aint putting teams out for giggles, he's doing it because he's seen the players in training, looked at the opposition etc. and put a team out he thinks will win.

No doubt Mike Walker would say the same thing but doesn't mean he got it right mate.

I'm giving my opinion. You see as the admin of this place you have to be careful because you can easily create a culture whereby people veering from your point of view aren't welcome. There I go, doing it again, quite addictive isn't it?

Right, so I can't present an opinion? - Or dare challenge yours?

That's me told.

Inter-forum mod cat-fight......

Round 1! FIGHT!

 Bruce isn't a mod.

The point is Bruce, it's a football forum - opinions are going to be presented. If you don't like it on the grounds that "Moyes is better qualified than you all so your opinions don't count" then I'd suggest sticking to just reading David Moyes' post match interview.

Bet he wishes he was though............
