I've read they are offering to treble his wages to £1.5m a year. We can't compete with that kind of money unfortunately. Can't blame him but would prefer him to get a club job.
Better chance than the other home nations (combined)
That statement has no logic, the other home nations have already been eliminated, so of course England has a better chance than them. You might as well say England have a better chance of winning the World Cup this time around than a horse and two fish.
My question was "Does anyone really think England can win the World Cup". I was interested in the opinions of Evertonians. Personally I think they are good enough to get out of their group providing they don't get a horrendous draw and maybe get to the last eight.
Much as I would like your statement to be true I have to disagree. He has done an absolutely fantastic job with Northern Ireland but I don't think he can do anymore. If you look at the age profile of the team then you can see we need to replace quite a few of our starting eleven. This is a job for a new regime.
Hopefully he won't have to take the Scottish job and he will get a club to manage.
I'v no problem letting him go to any club. He's earned the right. But we shouldn't be letting him talk to Scotland imo.

Id be quite confident to be honest and actually it would be the draw you would hope for of those teams who are usually seeded.

England ars no longer a team to be worried about, however being realistic they should beat NI, ROI, Wales or Scotland. Having said that I don't believe anyone would be too shocked if any of those sides beat them.
In my opinion England are a good side, they would be in my top ten European sides. When they are going well they can be top four but at the moment they are nearer 10 than 1.
