He has just had a very obvious dig at our fans, why would he the sign for us, Non starter but for what it i worth I would have him, left sided, covers 2 positions and would fit in easily but he aint gonna come here, if he ends up in Turkey then he is a money grabber.

Nope. Vice versa.

Lescott went on to be first choice in a title winning side, whereas our defence has never looked anywhere near as good.

Also, never played well against a good striker? How about when he had Drogba in his back pocket all game Chelsea away when Cahill scored his overhead kick? Best performance from a defender I've ever seen

How about when Shaun Wright Philips beat him to a header?

Whatever I said
Whatever I did
I didn't mean it
I just want you back for free
Want you back
Want you back
Want you back for cheap

If you want lots of money
That just won't work for me
But if you're willing
We can siiiiign you on the cheap

Want You back
Want You back
Want You back for cheap

Should have paid your taxes Gary.

the fact he made a comment about us, saying he went for the money, still shows it bothers him.

he will not want to come back (not that I want him to).

No brainier for me. On a free and as back up to stones and jagielka. Would add much needed experience in Europe. Alcaraz has been poor, not just due to his fitness but also his displays. Would like to see a lescott and Jags partnership in some euro games to give distin and stones a rest. When you think he averaged nearly a goal every 10 games from central defence, he gives us much needed threat at set pieces.
As for his attitude really poor, but look at how Suarez treated the RS over the summer and was still welcomed back. You have to remember moyes is no longer the manager, so I think he will come back.

As I have said ....look forward not back.
I think Martinez is a forward looking guy and will be planning for the future.

It doesn't work like that tho mate in real life as apposed to footy manager ( not accusing u of that btw) why would lescott come here to be backup?? He's that at city...answer is he wouldn't. Why would bobby buy him to replace any of the current 3 first teamer's?....answer he wouldn't. We could do with another CB but lescott does not fit the bill of what we need, which is a young ball playing CB who will eventually become stones partner long term.

It's a non starter lescott and rightly so IMO.

If he thought there was any chance of returning to Everton he wouldn't have said what he did during the week.
