Well what a pathetic reason not to support your country. I really can not understand why football fans hope that their home nation gets beats. If the players at chealsea utd and the rs moved to everton would you suddenly want england to win. If you dont like supporting england please move abroad to a nation you do like live there for the desired time and apply for their citizenship. I bet you are the same people that if we ever did win a world cup or european championship you would jump on the band wagon. On top of that lescott played last night so on that note only i would suggest any evertonian would want england to win

I'm English. English for means of identifaction only. I support Everton.

And i honestly couldn't give a crap if the English national team win same as i couldn't give a crap if Lowestoft F.C. or any other team in this country wins aprt from Everton.

They are a team made up of players who just happen to of been born/play for the same country that i live in.

Yeah i admit i find it funny when they lose but only because it comes after numerous bollocks about how good they think they are, how they are gonna win this one for the fans and how whaterver manager they get in is gonna transform a bunch of overpaid cant be arsed wallies into winners.

I have to admit this is basically my point put in a simpler form.


I love my country, but resent some of the people chosen to represent it.

These are the weak links in the national team as I believe they bring their inter club arguments into the National dressing room and this is why they do not gel as a team.

edit : They lack National pride and professionalism so how can anyone learn from these supposed role models.
