You mean like when you accuse people of being employed by the club ? Yeah.I wonder why some people make it all personal? Maybe it's because they have a threadbare argument? One for us to ponder.

Moyes has been scouting him during a period of time when he had two injuries. Everton knew damage had been done > offered a deal on what they thought they knew > deal accepted > Everton set a new price once they knew the damage. Best to get the expert advice before making balls on the table statements about signing players I think is the lesson learned here.
I'm not arguing 'fake bid'. I'm arguing we left it too late to fix the mess. How unreasonable of me.Just reading this thread I have to say that I find this davek poster to be deliberately obtuse and purposely dense in order to get his digs in at Bill. Reminds me of Little Joe. This is a fantastic fake bid though, Bill's really taken it up another level here.
Club have bid accpeted and don't tell fans = Everton are **** we're never told anything
Club have bid accpeted, tells fans and deal falls apart = Everton are ****, totally messed this up they shouldn't have told us
Club buys player against advice of medical staff and player breaks down = Everton are ****, wasted £8.6m on a player, we could have signed (insert numerous players)
Club refuses to complete deal based on medical examination = Everton are ****, we've all become doctors and know better then them poncy consultants, this is all a fake bid
Club buys player over installments = Everton are ****, paying for everything on the drip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWwUJH70ubMIt's like losing something you never had.
Who are you and what you done with DaveK??Resist the temptation to have a go at other blues. It's a bit raw at the moment. We dont want to go back to the days of 'conspiracy theorists' on one side and 'apologists' on the other. We lost out on a player. Those of us who point to previous cock ups are not tin foil hat wearing loonies; and those who accept the clubs line on an injury issue are not Billy Liars best mates.
Btw, re: whoever it was from the club who was on Kipper - has there been any you know of in here?"Uproar" maybe not but I do remember quite a few fans in this very thread saying things like "why have they announced it before it's final? ... could fall apart." I think it was mostly considered ill-advisable to have an OS statement like that. I don't follow other clubs closely (obviously) but it feels like this is a bit of an Everton-y thing to do ... many other clubs seem to wait until it's all final. We have done that at times and I wish we'd make it an official policy. Since a lot of fan reaction was angry but saying stuff like "typical" it does seem to suggest we have a reputation for not handling things in the most professional manner.Posting the agreement on the OS before the medical and personal terms were agreed is ridiculous. But I don't remember anyone in an uproar two days ago when it was posted. Fact of the matter is that most supporters demand to know and the club caved.
