Leon Osman

Here's what he said:

Osman said: "He's got all the talent in the world but he keeps on making more wrong decisions than right decisions in a game. Having had four or five years experience now you would have expected him to learn to have started to make them right decisions more often than not, but as of yet we're all still waiting for that to happen."

Speaking to Radio5Live Osman added: "He's been playing in the first-team since he was 17-18. That's a long time to have been playing in the Premier League and not kicked on and not made that next step. It's worrying that he's still being talked about as a young player and 'give him time’.”

Leon made the wrong decision in becoming a footballer.

Is he right? This is what a lot of Everton fans are saying about Ross, is it wrong to say in the media what a lot of blues are saying to themselves, I dunno

I find it just betraying a team mate really, but they all bring out biographies later and rip each other to shreds so swings and roundabouts i suppose.

No idea why he's slating all his ex-team mates in the media like.

Snide I think is the word we're looking for.
Now if people had called him that from the start the discussion would have been much clearer (for me anyway) I thought he'd been telling behind the scene tales of drug taking or other debauchery while he was at the club.

He allegedly, told Moyes a few of the lads had been out on the razz before a game i think; that's where it all stems from if i'm correct. That's why they use the word grass.

Now that would make sense,I just can't find anywhere on the net where there is a quote. So I suppose we'll need to stick with alleged.

You always think of them all as mates, weird hearing him have a go at Ross especially.

Yeah, it does seem like he could do more to defend them tbf. At least he was semi-balanced with Lukaku. If anyone not associated with the club had said that they would have got a majority approval on here.

I'm sure you're the first person to actually post anything he's supposedly done.

And they deserved it tbf. Well in Ossie I say. He's done them a favour on the long run.

Osman is allowed to have his opinions, the same as any other person. He isn't 100% wrong either. Ross didn't push on for several years. It wasn't until recently that he's started making consistently better decisions and his shooting accuracy hasn't really improved yet.

As for Lukaku, I'm sure we've all thought that he can be selfish at times and only cares about his stats. That's not really going out on a limb.

Osman is under no obligation to act like Roberto Martinez and sugar coat things. You can agree with his opinions or not. No reason to hate the guy.

I think he is probably right about Moyes and Lukaku.

Since leaving Everton Moyes has not done well. He was exactly what Everton needed at the time of his appointment but has struggled since. In time I think he can do a good job for Sunderland, but he is a manager that needs time and patience and support from the board.

I also think he is right about Lukaku, the player is obsessed about scoring goals rather than being a team player. That is not a negative it shows a player that is very focused. and it is up to each manager to get the best out of the player while working in the confines of a team.
I do believe that when Lukau gets the move he wants that he will find the adjustment greater than he expects as he will have to modify his game.

It also makes me wonder how upset RK would be about losing the player if it meant increasing his transfer budget by 80 plus.

We have seen in the past that RK can favour a striker that may score less but contributes more to the team.

I'd just like to say, this is only something I've read on here in the past, I'm sure way back in this thread, it was debated, I could be wrong but pretty sure that's what I read.

Also if the fans had found out the players were out before a game and then we lost that game, there would be murder, so in a way yeah right thing to do.
