That's why he used to run in circles lol

I don't mind the lad, he's popped a few vital goals in for us over the years and has been good. Is his book any good? I'm mid way through Harry Catterick's biography and then have "In Search Of Duncan Ferguson" to read - shall I get Ossie's next?

True story - he nearly ran me over on my 30th birthday - he missed.
TBH half way through it as an Xmas gift very impressed so far with Ossie - very funny and seroius so far so good - I would recommend it

People really underestimate him imo, even though he's not been as good lately as he once was. We've won most games he's played in this year, he just brings a balance to the side. I really can't stand this thing of boo boys and more favoured players getting off with awful performances. Horrible way to go for anyone and hope it's not true.

He'd still be a better central defender than Jagielka or Distin, even with one leg. Sign him up.

Very sad if true, Still an important squad player for me. I think Barkley seemed a bit lost at times against City at the weekend and I was thinking this is a game where Ossie could come off the bench and hopefully use the ball a bit better.

Aye I reckon he'd have dominated Fernandinho and Fernando tbf.

Yeah i got it on kindle as its a lot cheaper than in the shops, and its really good. The first insight into the moyes years and honestly his assessments of that time (and that manager) is not really much different than ours on here, which is interesting as i always thought he was one of moyes' golden boys, but it actually seems not.

I like Osman, never ever shies away and even during having a crap game still wants the ball. We could have done with him over the last two months.
I describe him as a 95% player - he's not quite a master of any of his attributes, but he is very good at a lot of things.
Hope he doesn't retire from this, not a nice way to go out.

His book is really quite good, as a few have mentioned. Nothing too revelatory or shocking, but a good insiders view of the last decade or so of Everton.
