The underlying insinuation is that Cahill is a bighead, especially the line about applauding him back from the toilet on the night out. I would be interested to know if the other players shared Osman's views or just thought it was good wind-up.

He's wrong anyway, I don't think Cahill stole Moyes' thunder at all, and the fans are perfectly entitled to have a pop at Moyes about the botched double bid.

You also don't slate them for coming out to a grand reception last, I can't imagine Cahill asked to go and get a guard of honour nor can I imagine he had much choice as to when he walked out, the clubs PR personnel would have had a lot to do with that. I didn't even realise at the time, I just thought I would cheer for a boss manager and a brilliant player.

The fact he has brought it up in his book confirms how much of a suck up he was/is.

I was gutted to see Moyes leave, I loved the job he done for us, but his behaviour after he left was unforgiveable and Osman saying in his book that Moyes didn't know about the Utd job, that's a blatant lie. He had been talked about for years as replacing Fergie, it was common knowledge and had been in the media for ages. His agent would have known months before. Again just proves he was Moyes's love child.

Cahill may well be a big head? Who cares if he is or isn't?

He says Cahill didn't ask to come out last, he's doesn't say Cahill didn't deserve to come out or anything just that he found it strange. That's his pergogative, hardly the crime of the century is it.

Also calling him a "suck up" and "Moyes love child" really does enhance your point of view to another level, well done.
 

He was his manager for 11 years and obviously respected him. Whatever people think of Moyes now, his time at Everton was filled with some very good times and we probably would not be looking at the team we have now if it wasn't for him. He did not have the mentality to take us to the next level which (hopefully) Martinez does but a player during that time showing respect to their previous manager is not as big a deal as some may make out.

I was personally a bit surprised that Cahill came out last but does that mean that I don't understand Everton fans either. Not saying I didn't think it was right or wrong but it was a send off for Moyes and that would normally mean that the man would be introduced last in any situation.
 
So Osman thinks Cahill is a big head and didn't like him?

This is like the time I found out that George Peppard was a massive sexist and also hated Mr T.

I used suck up and Moyes love child as this is what people are calling him who are fuming.

You can support him all you want this is your perogative, fair play, but you cannot deny the timing and contents of these comments are going to make life for him at the club even harder, it was already a fragile relationship between him and a lot of the fans.
