"He has devoted his life to Everton"
Can you tell me any clubs he's turned down? Maybe he's still at Everton because no one else wanted him. Here's some comments on other threads/sites:
On Atsu; he's to weak, loses the ball to easy
On McGeady; he's slow, lazy and loses the ball too often
Remind you of someone else? Osman lost the ball against Lille more times than the rest of the side combined

"Osman is not a player who courts the spotlight but he has had a career of which he can be proud. He has devoted his life to Everton, squeezed every last ounce of ability from himself and always been there to do a job. It is why he has been awarded a new 12-month contract"

apart from releasing a book about himself, he needs the dough though after playing for free, such is his devotion

Oh so you're "in the know" and you're alluding to Osman conspiring against Martinez but that's okay from behind a computer screen 12000 miles away and with no actual evidence.

I've now changed my mind and clearly Osman is a [swear word].

Take it or leave, I don't give a fck, you can see why nobody posts anything meaningful on here anymore. Welcome to the ignore list.

Anyone who refers to Osman or Hibbert as a 'loyal' or 'devoted' servant needs auto-banning.

They're not lovely little house dogs or workers on a pittance, they're multi millionaires who have never had an approach from teams even half as good as Everton.

Not to say they're not good players or good assets to have, but ffs they are being paid millions to play for Everton football club. If I got offered that job you'd all be cursing how lucky I was.

The old 'you don't know as much as the manager' argument is the footballing equivalent of fulfilling Godwin's Law -- it's an instant argumentative loss.

Either that or reason enough to close all football forums, because why bother debating the sport if managers never get anything wrong and we should all bow to their infinite wisdom?

Yep, we're definitely wrong, I'm on a PC screen 12,000 miles away, I clearly know fck all.
